I’m writing this on Thursday, actually, so this will be an experiment with the auto-post feature. 🙂 I won’t be around this weekend so, I won’t be able to Mr. Linkify over at Sunday Scrappin‘. But I did do this past week’s challenge: something fruity!
I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. It might be the basis for a larger summer-themed LO someday. Or, an oversize card to send to someone. We shall see.
MATERIALS: yellow scalloped cardstock (Target Scrapbooking Card Kit); red & black cardstock (Wasau Paper Classics Cardstock); black eyelets (Paper Source); 5th Avenue Shimmer Stickers (MakingMemories); White-Out; Green Sparkle embossing powder (JudiKins); Glossy green cardstock (for the rind).
As for my TA-DAs:
- happy birthday cake postcard (challenge)
- 2 condolence cards (posted below)
MATERIALS: stash stuff; leaves are “Decorative Accents” (BlackInk-Creative International Papers); mulberry paper square; stash vellum, stash ribbon
This is for my dear MIL whose kitty passed away. 😦
MATERIALS: stash; “Meadow Flowers” ribbon (Michael’s); “Love Kitten” stamp (262D from All Night Media); embossed “Country Hearts” kit from Rubber Stampede
As for TO-DOs…NONE! Out of town guests! 🙂
Awwww, those cards are beautiful. And I LOVE what you did with the challenge last week! I think this was the first week I actually could come up with something! LOL Good luck this week!
The “yum” is TOO cute! You must use it on something and I just may scraplift the idea from you – the brads as seeds are a great idea. The condolence cards are pretty, sorry to see that you had two to make in one week – sad. Have a great week!
Great watermelon card! Love it!
Nice work!
Some weeks the Sunday Scrappin’ post itself is on auto-post, too. 😉
I love your watermelon slice. How clever! And the condolence cards turned out nice. Thanks for coming by my Sunday scrappin’. I’m going to take a more in depth at your blog now as it is filled with creative stuff!
Love your watermelon!
Your cards are gorgeous Lyra, the watermelon card is so cute.
Have a wonderful week with your guests.
Lovely cards. Your bottom card really grabs my attention. Your watermelon is so cute in the scalloped edges.
Yum! I love watermelon!
Oh, that kitten card is cute too!
